We have renewed the developmental room of the Forrás Waldorf School in Győr

The Forrás Waldorf Primary and Secondary School in Győr maintained by the Waldorf Association celebrated its 25^th start of its academic year. According to Dr. Margit Borbély the president of the association as many as 250 children attend the institution.

In twelve grades they realize the Waldorf’s pedagogical, educational, personality development program, while the 13^th grade only serves the preparation for the school living exam. For this jubilee start of school we renewed the developmental room and the WHB group also donated developmental equipments worth nearly HUF 300 000 to the school.

The developmental room is very important for both the students and the school. It’s the school’s obligation to provide the students with developmental classes if the Expert Committee thinks they have shortcomings in some areas.

This is also important for the teachers as the result of these activities the students are more and more capable of maintaining their concentration during classes. As for the students, it is vital to harmonize their unevenly developed subskills thus achieving success at school.
