We built a 1120 places student home at the Széchenyi University in Győr

The new student home of the Széchenyi István University in Győr built by WHB was handed over. At the same time as the handover 3412 first-year students started their studies.

The new ten-storey, 20, 000 square meter facility, that is standing in the place of the outdated and temporary sports hall built in 1995 houses 1120 student.

There are 450 double rooms on seven floors. This is another thing we can be proud of as the WHB group by way of being the contractor contributed to the development of the education with its colleagues’ expertise and work.

At the Széchenyi István University 3412 freshmen started their studies in the new semester. This is 60 people, about 2% more than last year, while nationwide about 3 % less people were admitted this year. The university in Győr based on the number of the students enrolled is the seventh in our country and amongst the non-Budapest universities only the one in Debrecen, Szeged and Pécs surpass it. At the Széchenyi István University there are now 2864 places in five buildings.
