In downtown József nádor square an underground carpark is being built. During the construction 15 skeletons were found in the ground-learnt the atv.hu.
Our portal contacted the police regarding this matter. Soma Csécsi spokesman of Budapest Police Headquarters informed the atv.hu, that the skeletons found in József nádor square are not suspicious of crime. On the site archaeological excavations are taking place.
The atv.hu learnt that on Monday as well as on Tuesday skeletons were found on the building site, which had already been transported and it turned out that they are remains for World War II. The skeletons found on Wednesday are from the middle ages which suggests that on the site there was a cemetery once. As we know 53 graves were marked so far, and according to professionals they found the remains of a total of 300 graves.
