Donation for Győr hospital

The West Hungária Bau Kft donated equipments that can be attached to advanced ultrasound devices to the Győr Petz Hospital’s pediatric surgery department - a total of six pieces. The donation worth one million HUF, and with these devices simpler and safer hemostasis can be achieved during laparoscopic and open surgeries.

“We create something memorable”- this slogan is characteristic of WHB not only when it comes to building construction but also in the field of donation-emphasized Zsanett Lukács international PR manager, she said that they offered the hospital one million HUF which was used to purchase a total of six hemostasis instruments that can be attached to advanced ultrasound devices as requested by the medical professionals.

Dr. Zsolt Vaszari pediatric surgeon said that with these devices simpler and safer hemostasis can be achieved during laparoscopic and open surgeries.

The donation that came at the right time solves the lack of equipment of this kind for the next few years. Dr. László János Tamás chief medical officer added that the main instrument has been available in the operatin theatre but the instruments developed for child care have been missing so far. The WHB has been supporting the hospital for more than ten years, the construction company contributed amongst others to the reconstruction of the burn unit and the development of premature birth unit, and the Heart Catheter Foundation received a significant donation too.
