Somogytúr and its agglomeration’s sewage and wastewater treatment On behalf of the Local Government Association Aiming at the Realization of the South-Balaton’s Sewage and Wastewater Treatment and the National Development Program Bureau Nonprofit Kft. the Somogytúr agglomeration’s sewage and wastewater treatment project will be carried out by the SZW Consortium.

The construction works of the wastewater plant started in May. The project will be carried out in order to protect the Balaton’s catchment. Five settlements so far living without sewer will receive sewage. (Látrány, Somogytúr, Visz, Somogybabod, Gamás) The wastewater of these settlements will be collected and treated by the newly built wastewater treatment plant. Some parts of the project will be financed by KEOP other parts will be financed from the newly opened KEHOP EU funds. Estimated completion of the project is the end of summer 2016.
