The Olympic village linked to the soon beginning European Youth Olympic Festival was completed. The 201-dwelling facility built on the site of the former oil factory was reported complete by the contractor the West Hungária Bau Kft. that is celebrating its 20th jubilee this year.
In the past year the work on the Olympic village’s building site of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) was under way in full swing.
There were weeks when nearly 350 people worked on site every day.
The six-storey building that was built on a nearly 5.000 m2 plot forms an „E” shape encompassing the inner overground parking spaces.
The condominium consisting of one block with three separate stairways equipped with elevators houses 201high-tech homes.
The feature of all three buildings is the hanging corridor and because of this special heat insulation system had to be used. 212 outdoor and underground parking spaces belong to the residential home.
The West Hungária Bau Kft. celebrating its 20th jubilee this year completed the investment by the undertaken deadline.
By this time the technical transfer has also been successfully completed.
The building is located near the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017’s (EYOF) facilities.
First the building will be used as an Olympic village by the participants of EYOF, furnished flats equivalent to a three-star hotel will be awaiting them. After EYOF the property is expected to be handed over to the final residents in autumn 2017.
