Truck pulling European Championship on Saturday

In the team competition the Ádám Darázs-Richárd Várnai duo took the prestigious second place, within 46 seconds did they pull down the 46-ton truck on the 20-metre course. The other Hungarian team the Szabó-Mengyi master duo finished in fifth place. The truck pulling European Championship’s title sponsor is the West Hungária Bau Kft. with a branch office in Győr.

The competitors at the truck pulling European Championship challenged themselves in 5 categories. Depending on the category 7.5, 16 and 46-ton trucks were pulled by women, men and two-person teams.
All the competitors had to drag a truck down a 20 metre straight course both in a sitting and standing position-exept for the team competition as there was only standing race.
