I. WHB Győr Koko-Gym Mixed Martial art Gala

On 1 May in Győr was the 1st WHB Győr KOKO-GYM Martial Arts Gala, to which the main organizer Gábor Kokó Kókai invited us too. The ETO Park is not unkown to me, so the selection of the location the coference room on the second floor provoked confidence from me beforehand. Knowing Koko we could expect a fun event which was well organized by the Győr trainer/fighter.
We got what we expected, the cage provided by Hungarian Premium League, the fighters’ enthusiastic combats and the star performers delivered quality and relaxing entertainment.
Sándor Németh Nyiba the speaker fuelled the mood with a vehemence characteristic to him, the 15 fights dynamically ensued in amateur K1 and MMA system and for this a KO or sub weren’t necessary.
Although we had a few of these I would like to mention from the Győr athletes on the MMA line the combat of Attila Nagy and Máté Kertész, the latter did a professional job against the former favourite Bálint Gőz.
Before the main game Gábor Tánczos secretary of MPL took Mathias Prennt down with a bach throttle during the first round already. At the main game Gábor “Koko” Korpics stepped into the arena to get his first one-round win against Barnabás Miavecz.
