Sports centre opening ceremony

Dear Mr Managing Director!

A month ago we asked for your support in order to open the Sports centre completed on 6th August for the public in a worthy manner.

The opening ceremony took place on the Sports celebration organized by Gönyű Sports Club and Gönyű Local Government. Zoltán Németh president of Győr-Moson-Sopron County Assembly and Antal Dunai Olympic champion, former international football player honoured the celebration with their presence.

The Gönyű Sports Club has 110 signed players, together with the Old Boy’s team it means that the trained coaches move 130-140 people weekly. This is why the building of Sports centre is of great significance where the players can prepare for the trainings and matches under civilized circumstances. Due to the equipments of the building the athletes can take advantage of the opportunities given by the gym and the regeneration is also ensured for them in the sauna. The gym and the sauna are of course available for the residents too.

We placed a plaque on the building’s wall in the memory of József Szabó Gönyű born international player, successful Portuguese coach and the former manager of the Angolan national team, which was inaugurated during the event.
After the opening ceremony commenced the Sports celebration. The Gyönyű Old Boys clashed with the team of Transdanubian Old Boys. Former international and known athletes such as Sándor Sallai, Gyula Hajszán and Mihály Kozma also played for the teams. On the sporty family programes about 300 local visitors took place.

Hereby we would like to thank you for standing by the event, your support made it possible for us to draw attention to the importance of regular excersize with the help of a quality show and additional programs and that this is now possible in the completed Sports centre locally as well.
